I am a freelance Japanese-English translator, specializing in Japanese entertainment. My translations cover a wide range of media, including anime, manga, and light novels. I have worked on numerous projects, including hit series such as Akame ga Kill, Angel Beats, along with the anime and manga adaptations of the Danganronpa series.

Born and raised in the United States, I am a native English speaker and have studied Japanese since 1997. In 2008, I took and passed the JLPT Level 1, which was the highest level at that time. I have lived and worked in Japan, providing me with a well-developed understanding of their culture.

I believe that the only way to truly know a language and properly translate it first requires a sound understanding of the culture.
